Speaking in a recent interview to a leading media portal, the film's director Madonne Ashwin said, "Lokesh Kanagaraj was busy with Leo so he didn't have time to read Maaveeran's script. After that I showed him just one scene of the film and asked him how it was.

After watching it, he said it was super. Two days later Lokesh called me and said, 'You can place the scene that you showed me as the interval block. I said, no, this is the scene that comes after the break." His interview has excited SK fans.
