“Lost My Career Because Of Love?” Tamil Bigg Boss 4’s Shivani Opens Up

Shivani Narayanan is one of the most popular faces for fans of Tamil television shows. She started her career in acting by statting in TV shows and shot to huge fame after her participation in the fourth season of Tamil Bigg Boss. Though she was one of the strongest contestants of the season, she was widely criticized for her relationship with a fellow contestant, Balaji.

Though it has been years since the season was aired, the buzz around their relationship is still making the headlines. In a recent interview, Shivani addressed the issue. She was asked if her career took a dent because of her love for Balaji. "I would say my career started only because of love. My love for acting and cinema is the reason why I got the chances to act with such top stars."

For the unversed, Shivani played a minor role in the megahit Tamil movie, Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Shivani played one of the three wives of the movie's antagonist, Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from the aforementioned actors, Vikram also featured Universal Star Kamal Haasan and acclaimed Malayalam star Fahad Faasil in the lead roles.

Tamil star Suriya made a cameo appearance in the movie, which turned out to be the talk of the town back when the movie was released. She also played a role in the recent movie Naai Sekar starring Vadivelu. Up next, she has a movie titled Bumper, directed by debutant Selvakumar. The film has actor Vetri of Jiivi fame in the lead role. Hareesh Peradi will be seen playing an important role in the movie along with social media sensation G P Muthu, who enjoys a huge fan following. The technical team includes cinematography by Nedunalvaadai-fame Vinoth Rathinasamy. The film's release date is expected to be announced soon.
