Lucky
Man:
Balaji
Venugopal's
Debut
Film
The
film
is
directed
by
Balaji
Venugopal.
While
working
as
an
RJ,
Balaji
has
acted
in
various
films
and
has
made
his
debut
as
a
director
through
this
film.
The
film
revolves
around
the
story
of
a
man
who
wanders
in
search
of
fortune.
Lucky
Man
is
produced
by
Think
Studios.
Sean
Roldan
has
composed
the
music
for
the
film.
Cinematography
by
Sandeep
K
Vijay.
Yogi
Babu
along
with
Veera,
Rebecca,
RS
Shivaji
and
many
others
have
acted
in
the
film.
The
trailer
of
the
film
was
released
recently
and
it
created
good
expectation
among
movie
buffs.
The
press
meet
of
the
film
was
held
in
Chennai
recently.
Director
Balaji
Venugopal
said,
"I
have
done
everything
like
radio,
TV,
voice
artist
and
acting
for
20
years.
But
it
took
me
so
many
years
to
make
the
film
Lucky
Man.
It
was
'Muruga
Bhakthi'
that
connected
me
with
Yogi
Babu.
He
listened
to
the
story
and
said,
'This
story
is
like
looking
back
at
my
own
life.
I
will
definitely
do
it.'
Yogi
Babu's
Dedication
To
Cinema
When
a
good
thing
happens,
there
are
some
people
who
always
speak
negative
about
it.
Like
that,
they
told
me
that
Yogi
Babu
will
not
come
shooting
and
dubbing.
But
we
finished
everything
while
listening
to
all
that."
One
day
while
shooting,
Yogi
Babu
sir
has
a
terrible
medical
emergency
in
his
family.
We
had
planned
to
shoot
in
three
locations
that
day.
We
will
have
to
wait
a
month
for
the
next
call
sheet
if
we
missed
that
day.
At
a
time
when
everyone
was
in
agony,
when
they
thought
they
could
pack
up
in
the
afternoon,
he
said
'I'll
come'.
We
started
at
1.30
and
continued
till
5.30
in
comedy
despite
all
the
crises."
Balaji
Venugopal
also
posted
on
his
Facebook
page,
"From
Empty
auditorium
to
a
cheering
SATISFIED
audience..
Completed
the
FIRST
EVER
PREVIEW
of
LUCKYMAN
in
Kaaraikudi.
Whatte
response
and
whatte
love
for
the
film.
Time
froze
for
me
when
my
name
appeared
&
the
whole
auditorium
clapped
non-stop.
Those
claps
&
whistles
are
reveberating
in
my
ears
till
now.
Thank
you
Universe
&
My
team."
