Maamannan Faces New Problem In Ticket Bookings: With just two days left for the release of Maamannan, online ticket booking has also started. A new problem has been reported about the ticket bookings of the film.
Already at Maamannan's music launch, the Thevar Magan controversy created a stir. Udhayanidhi and Vadivelu starrer movie Mamannan directed by Mari Selvaraj. Fahadh Basil, Keerthy Suresh, Lal, Vijayakumar and many others have acted with them. Produced by Red Giant, the film is composed by AR Rahman. The film is releasing on June 29th, which has created high expectations among the fans.
Grand Release Worldwide
Mamannan is produced by Udayanidhi through his Red Giant. But he said that he had quit Red Giant after taking over the position of minister. However, from the audio launch party of the film Maamannan, all the promotional activities were done in a grand manner. Udhayanidhi also participated in these events along with Maamannan film crew.
As Mamannan got U/A certificate at censors, online booking also started two days ago. However, it is said that there has not been much booking so far. It is said that the reason for this is the controversy that Mari Selvaraj spoke about Thevar Magan.
Producer Asks 70 Percent?
In this case, there is another problem for Maamannan. It is said that the producers have made a request to the theatre owners. Usually 60 percent of the collection is paid to the producer for a film released in theatres. The remaining 40 percent is said to be given to the theatre owner.
But it is said that 70 percent is being asked by the producer for Maamannan. But theatre owners do not seem to have agreed to this condition yet. While it is doubtful whether Maamannan will have a big opening, theatre owners are lamenting that the producers are asking for 70 percent of the sharing.
