I was afraid while making the film Pariyerum Perumal. I don't know why. I wanted to bring Mari Selvaraj's art to the people.

They said that Madurai would be on fire if we showed Ambedkar's picture in the film. But to everyone's surprise they accepted it and our wish came true. The success of Pariyerum Perumal has given Mari Selvaraj such a big opportunity. I am a big fan of Vadivelu. Mari Selvaraj showed me some scenes from the movie Maamannan. It is too serious, I said that they could have added some comedies in the film. Mari Selvaraj has talked about an important politics in this film."
