After the success of the first film, he has directed the second film Maveeran with Sivakarthikeyan. It also stars Aditi Shankar, director Mysskin and actress Saritha in the lead roles. Cinematography was handled by Vidhu Ayyana and editing by Philomin Raj. The film was released in theaters on July 14 as a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu.

However, at the end of the second week, the film has collected only Rs.73 crores. The film has collected a total of Rs 46 crore in Tamil Nadu and has so far collected Rs 4.9 crore in Chennai.
