Maaveeran Pre-Release Business: Sivakarthikeyan Gets Career-Biggest Figures For Madonne Ashwin's Directorial
SK-starrer Maaveeran's digital streaming and satellite rights, referred to as pre-release business are sold for a huge price. According to the available information, OTT giant Amazon Prime Video bought the rights.
Sivakarthikeyan aka SK is one of the busiest Kollywood actors who works on multiple projects at a time. The multi-talented singer-actor-producer is currently filming for a high-octane mass action entertainer titled 'Maaveeran.' Written and directed by Madonne Ashwin, Maaveeran is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Aditi Shankar is the female lead of the movie.
Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in a bilingual, his Telugu debut with Telugu director Anudeep KV, titled 'Prince.' The movie couldn't do as much in Tamil Nadu as it did in the Telugu region. Although the hatrick hero was a bit disappointed about the same, he was successful in capturing and securing a good market in the two Telugu states.

According to the available information, OTT giant Amazon Prime Video secured the digital rights to the film for a whopping price. The digital and satellite rights were given away for Rs 83 Crore combined, which is the highest in Sivakarthikeyan's career. Sun TV bagged the satellite rights.
