Gentleman 2 Update: Lyricist Vairamuthu has said that Gentleman 2 is in the making. He shared a picture of him with Oscar Winning RRR Music composer MM Keeravani and producer KT Kunjumon.

Shankar made his directorial debut with Gentleman and the film was a huge hit. Arjun, Goundamani, Madhubala and others acted in the film. AR Rahman composed the music. Produced by KT Kunjumon.

Shankar's Controversial Blockbuster

Shankar got the attention of entire Kollywood due to the huge success of the first film, while the story of that film is not agreed by many till date. It is noteworthy that even today, there is a talk that Shankar has registered a wrong opinion against the reservation.

Similarly, it was said that initially Kamal Haasan was approached by Shankar to act in Gentleman. But Kamal refused it saying there is a problem with the story, thinking that if he acted, it would lead to controversy. MM Keeravani Composes Music For Gentleman 2

In such a situation, Lyricist Vairamuthu shared a photo of him with music composer Keeravani and producer KT Kunjumon on his Twitter page and said, "I am writing music for Gentlemen 2 in Kochi. Keeravani (Maragathamani)'s first Tamil movie after Oscar. We are singing like early morning birds. The film is directed by Gokul Krishna." Vairamuthu's tweet has gone viral now. It is expected that more details about the lead actors of the film will be released soon.

Netizens are congratulating the team. One of them said, "The film Gentleman produced by Kunjumon and all the songs of Kaviperarasu in the film are unforgettable that still make the heart flutter. The second part of the film is sure to be a hit with the Oscar-winning music director."
