Netizens Troll Maamannan Makers: Netizens compare and trolls director Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan movie scene with his real life incident that happened at Vadivelu's house infront of Udhayanidhi Stalin.

There are reports that the movie Mamannan has made huge collections in the first week of its release. But, no official announcement has been made by Red Giant Movies yet.

40 Crores Collection

Maamannan movie is said to have collected up to 40 crores so far. Even after a week of its pre-release, the controversies about the film don't seem to have subsided. As Maamannan film spoke about strong social justice, the film has got a huge reach among the people.

Many people are praising Mari Selvaraj for directing such a film with Udayanidhi Stalin. Many controversies swirled around Maamannan film that it was the story of Dhanabal from AIADMK and Edappadi Palanichamy was portrayed as the villain performed on screen by Fahadh Faasil.

When Kamal was the special guest at the audio launch of the film Maamannan, Mari Selvaraj openly spoke about the pains caused by the film Thevar Magan, which caused a huge controversy.

Plastic Chair Controversy

But before the release of the film, Mari Selvaraj met Kamal Haasan and apologized for the controversy. In the film Maamannan, there was a scene where Fahdh Faasil will make his candidate, who came from the suppressed community to sit in a plastic chair at his home whereas Fahadh will sit in a cushion sofa. Similarl to this context, photos of VCK party leader Thol. Thirumavalavan were trending on the internet earlier.

In this situation, a photo of Vadivelu and Maamannan director Mari Selvaraj sitting on a plastic chair while Udayanidhi Stalin was sitting in a cushion sofa infront of them is trending on social media and being trolled now.

Fans say that this is not Udhayanidhi's house but Vadivelu's. Fas are also supporting Vadivelu for making Udhayanidhi who came to his home to sit on the sofa. The netizens are saying that Mari Selvaraj should raise his voice against this situation which needs to be changed.
