Pathu Thala & Viduthalai Part 1 Censor Certificates Out; Netizens Are Shocked To See So Many Bad Words In Both

Simbu starrer Pathu Thala and Soori starrer Viduthalai Part-1 will release back to back on March 30 and March 31 respectively. There is a big clash at the box office. 'Pathu Thala' starring Simbu is directed by Obeli N Krishna. The film stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan and Reddin Kingsley. 'Viduthalai' starring Soori is directed by Vetrimaran and the film will be released in two parts. Produced by Elred Kumar's RS Infotainment, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sri, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Chethan, Illaravasu and many other actors.

As the release date of the films approaches, the censor certificate of the two films has been released now. The censors have cut a lot of profanity in the films. After cutting the controversial words at several places, the CBFC has given the Pathu Thala film a 'U/A' certificate. The censor board has removed the bad words in both English and Tamil languages. It has also suggested removing gore and beheading scenes, and now the total running time of the film has been revised to 152.24 minutes.

Following this, the CBFC has given an 'A' certificate to the film Viduthalai Part-1, and the Censor Board has recommended the removal of some scenes during the investigation and the use of profanity from the film. Now the total running time of the film has been revised to 145.37 minutes.
