“People Have Told Me That I Look Like Chithu,” Baakiyalakshmi Star Reshma Pasupuleti

Reshma Pasupuleti is playing an important role in the soap opera Baakiyalakshmi, which is being aired on Vijay Television. Though she has acted in movies, she became popular only after her appearance in the reality show, Bigg Boss. She took part in the third season of the show and was one of the most popular contestants of the season.

In an interview, Reshma was asked about her makeup routine and her co-stars from Baakiyalakshmi. After explaining her makeup routine for thee series, she said that her favourite co-star from the serial was Mayu, who plays her daughter in the series. She also opened up about her relationship with her co-lead KS Suthithra. She said that they both are good friends even though they are enemies in the serial.

Reshma also recalled that several people have told her that she looks like the late actor VJ Chithra. She said, "Many people have told me that I look like Chithu. We are close friends and even today, I miss her. Some people have even asked if we were siblings."

It has been more than two years since VJ Chitra reportedly died by suicide. She breathed her last on December 9, 2020 and her body was found hanging in the bathroom of a hotel room. As the mystery around her death is still not solved, several of her close friends and small screen actors have spoken about her.

Though in its initial investigation, the police found her death to be a suicide case, later Hemanth was arrested based on the complaint of Chitra's parents. Chitra was a popular name in the Tamil television industry and she rose to popularity with the Vijay television's soap opera Pandian Stores. She made her debut in the film industry with Calls, which was released in 2021 after her death.
