After the success of Vijay Antony starrer 'Pichaikkaran' the movie 'Pichaikkaran 2' has been made. It features Vijay Antony, Kavya Thapar, Radha Ravi, Y G Mahendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, John Vijay, Harish Paredi and Yogi Babu among others. The film released in theaters on May 19, 2023.

Pichaikkaran 2 collected over Rs 4.5 crore in Telugu on its first day of release. This was officially announced by the film crew. In other words, Pichaikkaran 2 has grossed more on its first day in Andhra Pradesh than the much-anticipated Ponniyin Selvan 2 movie, which has a huge star cast.

The film, which talks about various topics like brain transplant, class depression, brother-sister love, was released on 19th in Telugu as 'Bichagadu 2'. So far, it has been reported that 'Pichhaikkaran 2' has collected up to Rs.23 crore worldwide.

Vijay Antony has also announced that Pichaikkaran 3rd part will be released in 2025. He said that the third part will have a completely different storyline.
