Raid At Ponniyin Selvan Production House: The enforcement department has raided Lyca Productions. It is reported that the raid is being conducted on the basis of a complaint related to illegal money transfer.

Actor Parthiban has earlier said that the collection of Ponniyin Selvan may be subject to an income tax audit. This statement of the famous actor who played the role of Chinna Pazhuvettarayar in Ponniyin Selvan movie is now going viral on social media due to the raid conducted by the enforcement department.

Lyca is a famous film production company. They produced many films including Kaththi, Kolamavu Kokila, Naai Sekar Returns, Ponniyin Selvan. GKM Tamilkumaran is the chief executive officer of this company owned by popular businessman Subashkaran.

Films With Top Heroes Of Tamil Film Industry

The company is producing several upcoming films including top heroes of Tamil Cinema such as Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, Rajinikanth's Laal Salaam and Ajith's Vidaa Muyarchi. It is noteworthy that the company had announced that Ponniyin Selvan, the last film released under the production of this company, has collected 300 crores.

The enforcement officials have now conducted raids at 10 locations including Adyar, T. Nagar, Karapakkam which are related to Lyca Productions. According to reports, the raid is being conducted on the basis of a complaint related to illegal money transfer.

Military officers armed with guns are engaged in security work in those raid locations to ensure that there is no commotion and confusion during the inspection which is going on from 7 am today. Subsequently, no official information has been released about the documents seized by the enforcement agencies. However, it is said that the officials who are conducting the search have seized many documents, including documents for payment of income tax. It is expected that appropriate action will be taken if any illegal documents are found.

Udhayanidhi Stalin & OPS Son To Be Interrogated?

According to the information released so far, it is said that the documents showing that Lyca has given Rs 1 crore to minister and actor Udhayanidhi Stalin's company have been found. Subsequently, the documents have also been found showing that the Lyca company has given 8.5 crore rupees to OP Rabindranath, son of O Panneer Selvam. Accordingly, it is believed that both of them will be interrogated in this case investigation.
