Ponniyin Selvan 2 Twitter Review: The Cholas Are Back With A Bang!

While many directors have tried to film Ponniyin Selvan fictional novel written by Amarar Kalki, director Mani Ratnam has finally made that dream come true.

The second part of the film is releasing tomorrow morning at 9 AM in Tamil Nadu. But a special premiere is arranged in USA tonight. It is said tat the show will start around 1:30 IST tomorrow. On the other hand, the film is releasing in Kerala and some other states by 4 AM in the morning.

The first part ended with dreadful information on the demise of the Chola king, Arunmozhi Varman aka Ponniyin Selvan. We also saw Oomai Nayagi aka Mandhagini Devi diving into the ocean in an attempt to save Arunmozhi. So, the second part may begin with the revelation of whether she was able to rescue the king or not.

We might also get to see more chemistry between Vandhiyadevan and Kundavai. There will be an angle of a triangular love story that would happen between Arunmozhi Varman, Samuthira Kumari aka Poonguzhali, and Vanadhi. While there is a battle for power on who gets to sit on the throne, we will see the rise of an unexpected character, Sendhan Amudhan. There will be elaborate portions for prince Madhurandhagan, and he will join the evil forces of the Pandiya camp. He will also join forces with Nandhini and will owe to destroy the Chola kingdom.

There will be more strategic planning, which will be executed by Queen Kundavai along with the ministers of the kingdom. We will get to witness the true self of King Adithya Karikalan, and his love angle with a princess of a small kingdom, Manimegalai.
