Prakash
(Ashok
Selvan),
who
joins
the
police
force
in
Chennai,
is
assigned
as
an
assistant
to
Loganathan
(Sarathkumar),
a
crime
branch
Superintendent
of
Police.
2
women
are
killed
in
a
row
in
Trichy.
Loganathan
is
given
the
task
of
finding
the
culprit.
Initially
accepting
Prakash
reluctantly,
Loganathan
insults
him
by
pointing
out
his
inadequacies.
Well-Written
Screenplay
Grabs
Attention
But
he
realizes
Prakash's
knowledge
and
skills,
which
emerge
in
the
subsequent
stages
of
the
investigation,
and
entrusts
him
with
important
responsibilities.
Meanwhile
2
more
women
are
killed
in
the
same
manner.
Who
is
the
killer?
Why
did
he
commit
these
murders?
What
happened
to
Loganathan
and
Prakash
on
their
journey
to
find
this
out?
The
rest
is
crux
story.
After
a
long
break
in
Tamil
cinema,
debutant
director
Vignesh
Raja
has
given
us
an
exciting
and
intelligent
detective
thriller.
Alfred
Prakash
co-wrote
the
screenplay
of
the
film.
Thriller
films
usually
based
on
serial
killings
are
layered
with
twists.
But
it's
refreshing
to
see
that
most
of
the
first
half
deals
with
police
procedurals
that
have
never
been
told
on
screen.
The
combination
of
a
seasoned
senior
officer
and
his
bookish,
talented
and
vibrant
youngster
to
untangle
the
knots
of
this
perplexing
case
one
by
one
is
interestingly
and
believably
portrayed.
