Rajinikanth's Daughter, Dhanush's Estranged Wife Aishwarya Files A Police Complaint; Here's The REASON

Superstar Rajinikanth's elder daughter, actor-producer Dhanush's ex-wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth approached police following a ghastly incident. The director-producer was robbed off expensive and exquisite jewelry from her apartment.

Aishwarya filed a police complaint stating the same at the Teynampet station. She expressed suspicion on three of her domestic workers at home, who might be involved in the theft.

In her complaint, Aishwarya mentioned that the valuables are in the form of jewelry and weigh about 60 sovereigns. The jewelry she wore for her sister Soundarya's wedding were stored away in a locker in 2019. However, when she recently checked up on them on February 10, she found them missing. The jewelry comprises of diamonds, uncut diamonds, antique gold pieces, bangles, navaratnam sets in the form of neck ornamates.

After the wedding in 2019, the locker was reportedly shifted to three places including her apartment complex in St Mary's road and her house in CIT colony, where she lived with Dhanush. In September 2021, the locker was moved to her St. Mary's road apartment. On April 9, 2022, the locker was taken to Rajinikanth's Poes Garden residence. The keys to the locker were left in the place at her apartment, which is a known secret to her staff. She said that the team of workers had access to the apartment when she was away. Police registered a complaint, and the investigation is currently on.

Aishwarya is 41 years and recently announced her separation from actor-producer Dhanush. The couple were married in 2004 and have two sons- Yatra Raja, and Linga Raja.

Aishwarya directed three films so far- debuting with Dhanush-Shruti Haasan's 3, Vai Raja Vai, and Cinema Veeran. Her upcoming film Lal Salaam is currently on the sets. Besides direction, Aishwarya also sang two songs in Tamil- 'Natpae Natpae' from Whistle, and 'Un Mela Aasadhan' from Aayirathil Oruvan.
