The press conference for Ratham movie was held recently in Chennai. Vijay Antony attended the event with his younger daughter Laura.

Speaking at the event, Vijay Antony said, "Director Amudhan is my friend. His father struggled a lot to teach me music. But he is a little angry with me because I have come to cinema without learning music. I thought for a long time that I should work with Amudhan. After 10 years, it has become possible now. You know him as a comedy film director. Apart from that, another dimension of him has come out in this film. This film is sure to be a hit."

Kamal Bora, Lalitha Dhananjeyan, Pradeep, Pankaj Bora and Vikram Kumar have produced the film on behalf of Infinity Film Ventures. The trailer of Ratham movie attracted audience and has created a good hype for the film. Director Amudhan, who attracted everyone's attention with his unique style, has now ventured into a serious political plot. As befits the title, the trailer starts with blood and murder. With his usual serious expression, Vijay Antony is seen in two looks with full beard and without beard.
