Reason For Dhanush and Aishwarya’s Separation: Shruti Haasan Breaks Silence

Kollywood's acclaimed actor Dhanush recently made the headlines for the wrong reasons when he announced his separation from his wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, Aishwarya also announced the news on her social media. Ever since the news was announced, fans have been trying to find the reason behind the couple's decision as they did not announce the same.

Among the rumours that surfaced was Shruti Haasan's involvement. While Shruti Haasan has never addressed such rumours, she has finally broken the silence. In an interview, she said, "Dhanush is my good friend. He has helped me during several instances. However, there is nothing more between us. I am not the reason behind the separation between Dhanush and Aishwarya. I am not addressing the rumors and it is not possible to meet everyone and explain my stand."

Back in January 2022, Dhanush announced his separation by sharing a status on social media. He wrote, "18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate... Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this. Om Namashivaaya! Spread love, D." The same status was shared by Aishwarya, too.

On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual drama, Vaathi. He has a huge lineup of films in the pipeline that are in different stages of production. This includes Captain Miller with ace filmmaker Arun Matheshwaran and his Hollywood movie, which will be a spinoff of his character from The Gray Man. Aishwaya is busy with the director of Laal Salam starring Vishnu Vishal.
