Samantha On Her Divorce: 'I Gave My 100 Percent & It Didn't Work; I Liked The Lyrics Of Oo Antava & Signed It'

Samantha opens up about her marriage and divorce in a recent interview. Her upcoming film Shaakuntalam is getting great expectations among fans. Samantha is working hard for the promotion of the film and in that way she is giving interviews to many leading media portals on a regular basis.

She looks bold and speaks daringly about anything that has been asked in the interviews. In a recent interview, when asked about her hard work behind O Antava dance, Samantha replied, "That's Basic. You are going to be a part of such a huge film. And you are going to dance with the best dancer in the country, Allu Arjun, which is petrifying. When Allu Arjun is on screen in a song, I don't remember anything in that song. I don't look at the heroines in the songs sometimes. So I think the biggest compliment was that people knew I was in O Antava song."

When I got the offer in the middle of my separation, every friend, well-wishers and my family members told, 'You will sit at home and not doing an item song right after this separation. You will say no to this.' Even those who always want me to do unique roles like the one in Super Deluxe said 'No don't do an item song'. I said, 'OK. I'm doing it'. Because I just thought that 'Why should I hide?'. I didn't commit any crime. I gave my hundred percent to my marriage. It didn't work out. I was not going to feel guilty for something that I didn't do. I just loved the lyric and its placement in the film. For me it is just another character that I'm playing."
