Sangavi Recalls Having Two Miscarriages, "There Was No Heartbeat, I Was Very Depressed When We Saw The Scan"

South Indian actress Sangavi has candidly shared her personal journey of resilience and heartbreak in a recent interview. The actress revealed that she had experienced two devastating miscarriages before the birth of her first child, Chanvi. Both miscarriages occurred when Sangavi was approximately 7 weeks pregnant, leaving her with a profound sense of loss and grief.

Recalling her first miscarriage, Sangavi revealed that she was actively involved in her work during that period. She was occupied with the Celebrity Badminton League (CBL) and initially believed that her busy schedule may have contributed to the unfortunate outcome. However, she soon realized that miscarriages can occur for various reasons unrelated to her professional commitments.

Determined to ensure a healthy pregnancy, Sangavi made significant lifestyle changes when she became pregnant for the second time. She strictly limited her physical activities and minimized her mobility, hoping to provide the best possible environment for the developing fetus. Despite these precautions, the second pregnancy also ended in a miscarriage, leaving Sangavi devastated once again.

Recalling the incidents, she said in the interview, "I beat myself up when the firat miscarriage happened. I was extremely busy with CBL and I was roaming here and there. When we went for scan in the 8th week, we were told that there was no heartbeat for the baby. I thought I was not being careful. And it depressed me so badly. So, when I got pregnant the next time, I was extremely careful and did engage in any physical activity. I even kept my movements to very minimal. But then, when we went for the 8th week scan, we were again told that there was no heartbeat. It made me extremely depressed. My husband even suggested that we would adopt a child. But by god's grace, Chanvi entered our life like an angel."
