South
actor
Sarath
Babu
breathed
his
last
on
Tuesday
after
batting
a
rare
condition.
He
has
been
on
medical
support
for
months
before
breathing
his
last.
Celebrities
and
fans
have
been
showing
their
condolences
to
him
on
social
media.
Now,
popular
media
personality
Vanitha
Vijayakumar
has
recalled
a
memory
of
her
mother
and
how
she
had
a
near-death
experience
with
Sarath
Babu.
She
said
in
the
interview,
"Sarath
uncle
and
I
have
a
special
bond.
He
was
featured
in
my
first
movie
Chandralekha
as
my
father
and
he
was
the
first
person
I
associated
as
my
father
after
my
actual
father,
Vijayakumar.
His
demise
is
an
absolute
shock
for
me
and
I
am
praying
for
his
soul
to
rest
in
peace."
Recalling
about
the
incident
his
mother
had
with
him,
Vanitha
said,
"My
mother
and
Sarath
Babu
along
with
some
other
cast
members
of
a
movie
were
locked
up
in
a
hotel
room
during
the
riots
in
Andhra
Pradesh.
They
all
fled
the
state
with
the
help
of
an
influential
politician.
Though
I
did
not
see
it
in
person,
my
mother
has
told
me
about
it,
and
I
cannot
even
imagine
what
they
all
would've
gone
through."
She
said,
"His
last
movie
was
with
me.
The
the
Telugu
film,
Malli
Pelli
is
yet
to
be
released,
and
it
saddens
me
to
know
that
he
will
not
be
with
us
to
watch
it.
It
is
also
my
comeback
to
the
Telugu
cinema
industry."
Vanitha
said,
"We
all
had
a
great
time
shooting
for
the
movie.
We
ditched
the
caravan
and
had
our
food
together
in
one
place.
I
will
cherish
the
memories
forever.
He
was
very
healthy
during
the
film's
shooting.
He
will
be
seen
playing
my
father
in
law
in
the
movie."
Sarath
Babu
breathed
his
last
on
Tuesday
after
suffering
an
autoimmune
disease.
