Sasikumar's Ayothi Story Plagiarism Issue Solved? Writer Mathavraj Assures ‘It Was Taken From My Article’
I came known that the Ayothi story given to director Manthira Moorthy by writer S Ramakrishnan was taken from an article I had written in 2011 in the Bank Workers Unity magazine and my 'Endless Pages'.
Writer
Mathavraj
has
announced
that
there
has
been
a
smooth
solution
to
the
story
plagiarism
issue
of
actor
Sasikumar-starrer
Ayodhya.
Mathavraj's
position
is
that
the
story
of
Ayodhya
is
his.
It
is
alleged
that
the
writer
S
Ramakrishnan
gave
this
story
to
the
Ayothi
film
crew
claiming
it
as
his
own.
Various
discussions
were
held
on
social
media
regarding
this.
In
this
situation,
the
writer
Mathavraj
had
posted
on
his
Facebook
page.
"It
was
reported
that
the
director
of
Ayothi
wanted
to
talk
to
me
in
person.
Today
in
Chennai
at
Shastri
Bhavan,
I
informed
that
I
am
coming
to
Chennai
as
there
is
a
hearing
on
my
gratuity
case.
I
was
contacted
by
the
film
crew
this
morning.
A
meeting
was
held
with
the
film's
producer
Ravindran,
director
Manthira
Moorthy
and
assistant
director
Sridhar
in
the
presence
of
the
Deputy
Labor
Commissioner
Comrade
Viswanathan
PV
who
came
with
me
on
the
case.
He
worked
in
our
bank
and
was
in
trade
union
responsibilities.
We
shared
what
happened
on
both
sides.
The
producer
spoke
with
great
understanding
which
made
the
meeting
meaningful
and
harmonious.
I
expressed
my
appreciation
that
this
film
is
an
important
and
necessary
film.
Director
Manthira
Moorrthy
described
the
hard
work
and
field
work
that
went
into
this
film.
It
came
to
be
known
that
the
story
given
to
director
Manthira
Moorthy
by
writer
S
Ramakrishnan
was
taken
from
an
article
I
had
written
in
2011
in
the
Bank
Workers
Unity
magazine
and
my
'Endless
Pages'.
During
the
Ayothi
movie
release
on
OTT
platform,
I
have
requested
that
proper
recognition
should
be
given
to
Pandiyan
Grama
Bank
Employees
Sangham,
its
comrades
Samuel
Jyotikumar
and
Suresh
Babu,
who
helped
the
North
Indian
family
in
real
life.
It
was
promised
that
arrangements
would
be
made
and
recognition
will
be
given
to
them.
I
expressed
my
happiness
to
producer
Ravindran
and
director
Manthira
Moorthy.
Thanks
to
all
the
people
who
supported
and
stood
by
this
issue.
Let's
see.
Hopes
must
come
true."
