"Sivaangi Krishnakumar Is Like My Daughter," Cooku With Comali's Venkatesh Bhatt Lashes Out At Gossips

Tamil show Cooku With Comali is one of the most popular reality shows and it is creating a huge buzz on social media as the fourth season is nearing its end. After the magnificent success of the first three seasons, the makers rolled out the fourth season a couple of months back.

It was revealed earlier last week that Sivaangi Krishnakumar is the first finalist of the season and fans have been expressing how happy they are about it. However, some fans also pointed out how could she become the first finalist when there are more experienced chefs are competing with her. They added that it could be because chef Venkatesh Bhatt, who is one of the judges plays favouritism to her.

Clearing the air, Venkatesh Bhatt has released a statement saying that there is no favouritism in the show. He said, "Sivaangi is like my daughter. But our bond has nothing to do with the show. In the show, there is no space for any such thing."

Meanwhile, Sivaangi announced a few weeks back that she will not return to the show after the current season. She entered the show in the first season as a comali (assistant for the chefs) and eventually made her way to become a chef herself.

For the unversed, the season started with ten chefs namely Sherin Shringar, Mime Gopi, Vichithra, Sivaangi Krishnakumar, Andreanne Nouyrigat, Srushti Dange, VJ Vishal, Raj Ayyappa, Kaalaiyan, and Kishore Rajkumar. While some of them are still in the show, other have gotten evicted in the past weeks. Pugazh, Sunitha Gogoi, GP Muthu, Raveena Daha, Mohammed Kuraishi, Tiger Thangadurai, Singapore Deepan, Monisha Blessy, Silmisham Siva, Otteri Siva, and Manimegalai are the Comalies of the season. The show is being aired in the weekends on Vijay TV. Fans can also watch the show on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.
