Actor Sivakarthikeyan is currently gearing up for the movie Maveeran. Director Madonne Ashwin who directed Yogi Babu starrer Mandela and won 2 national awards for the film directing Maaveeran. The film features director Shankar's daughter Aditi opposite actor Sivakarthikeyan. Shooting of the film is currently going on in full swing.

Mysskin plays the villain to Sivakarthikeyan in Maveeran. Bharat Shankar is composing the music for the film. Now the release update of Maaveeran is out. Accordingly, it is said that the producer of the film is planning to release it in theaters on the upcoming Bakrid holiday on 29th June.
