Directed by Meher Ramesh, Bholaa Shankar is a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam. Along with the first song, Bholaa Mania's super success, the latest teaser also satisfied the fans' expectations. The teaser begins with Chiranjeevi playing the title role, who is depicted as a person who kills 33 people. The veteran looked stylish in the teaser and carried forward the charm he exuded in Waltair Veerayya. Bholaa Shankar will hit the screens on August 11, 2023.

The actor has finally announced his next which will be helmed by none other than the maverick filmmaker Mani Ratnam. After the epic feat of making Ponniyin Selvan 1 & 2, Mani Ratnam will work on this project, which will be bankrolled by Kamal Haasan under the Raaj Kamal Films Production banner. The pre-production works are going on for STR 50, and the shooting will begin in the middle of 2024.

KOK is expected to hit the screens for Onam this year. Abhilash Joshiy is making his directorial debut in Dulquer's production Wayfarer Films in association with ZEE Studios. Jakes Bejoy is composing the film's music.

The movie Leo carries high expectations as it marks the collaboration of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay again. The first song has so far clocked over 16.55 million views on YouTube and emerged as the most-viewed first single in Tamil cinema.
