Nikhil Siddharth is all set with another interesting thriller, which is based on real-life events, titled SPY. The movie is based on the life and death secrets of Subhash Chandrabose, the legendary. The makers have announced the teaser release date as May 15. They want to make the event special by releasing the teaser at the iconic Kartavya Path (Rajpath). Editor Garry BH is making his directorial debut with SPY. Iswarya Menon is the film's leading lady. The movie will release all over the world on June 29 in five languages.

Tollywood's chocolate boy, Naga Shaurya is ready with another release titled Rangabali. His last venture Phalana Ammayi Phalana Abbayi didn't make an impact at the box office as expected. He pinned hopes on Rangabali, written and directed by debutant Pawan Basamsetti. The makers of the movie, Sudhakar Cherukuri of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas LLP banner, announced July 7 as the film's theatrical release date. Yukti Thareja is the film's female lead.

Pan-India star Prabhas' upcoming mythological drama titled Adipurush, is all set to hit the screens on June 16. The makers breathed a sigh of relief after the theatrical trailer earned a positive reaction from the fans and film buffs. Now, to live up to the expectations, the makers are taking special care to ensure the 3D effects are up to the mark. Reportedly, the team is confident about the output of CGI and its enhancement with 3D projection.

Mollywood veteran, superstar Mammootty had paid a visit to the house of the deceased Dr Vandana Das in Kottayam. The actor-producer consoled the parents of the youngster, whose life was ended abruptly due to a heinous act. Vandana Das (23) was stabbed by a patient in a hospital at Kottarakkara Taluk on May 10, which led to a severe outrage. The medicos have staged protests condemning the act; demanded thorough and immediate justice for the bereaved family. Mammootty was accompanied by actor-director Ramesh Pisharody and producer Anto Joseph. Meanwhile, thousands turned up to the funeral procession of Vandana, along with Kerala State's Health Minister Veena George.

The RRR star Jr NTR, who is turning 40 years old on May 20, will be giving a treat to his fans by revealing the title of NTR 30, his upcoming film by Koratala Siva, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Jr NTR took part in an exclusive photoshoot for the first look poster, recently. In all likeliness, the title could be 'Devara.' Jr NTR will be seen in a dual role in NTR 30.

Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty starrer Custody, a cop thriller directed by Venkat Prabhu has hit the screens on May 12. The movie was made as a Telugu and Tamil bilingual. Upon its theatrical release, the movie is said to have a good story, coupled with extraordinary performances. However, there are complaints about the film's unnecessary songs and dragged scenes that hindered the narration and pace.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is currently one of the actors in TFI with chock-a-block schedules; having three films at a time on the sets. His periodic action thriller Hari Hari Veera Mallu by Krish Jagarlamudi, The OG by Saaho fame Sujeeth, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh by Harish Shankar are working simultaneously. Since PK is also active in politics with the Janasena party, he would like to allot a good amount of time to take part in his commitments as the general public elections in Andhra Pradesh are around the corner. The actor, therefore, is said to have asked the filmmakers of these three films to wrap up the work involving him within the upcoming six months.

Custody is one of the much-awaited releases of this summer. Director Venkat Prabhu has ventured into the Telugu industry with his trademark films starring Naga Chaitanya. The movie has opened to positive-to-mixed reactions upon its theatrical release.
