Dhanush, the multi-talented Kollywood personality is filming for Captain Miller now. Very soon, his 50th film is set to go on floors under his direction. Referred to as D 50, the movie is in the pre-production phase. The movie stars Vishnu Vishal, SJ Suryah, and Kalidas. The recce for locations is happening and areas in North Madras areas of Chennai are being finalized. The filming will begin at the end of July.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu's latest release Shaakuntalam is a disaster. BV Nandini Reddy, who hit the screens with Anni Manchi Sakunamule also tasted another disaster in her career. The duo, who earlier delivered a success in the form of 'Oh Baby,' are uniting for another movie. DJ Tillu fame Siddhu Jonnalagadda is part of the movie. It will be produced by Ram Talluri. The story for the film will be written by BVS Ravi.

Since the movie didn't make an impact on the big screen, the makers of the film immediately announced the online streaming date. However, there seems to be a postponement in the same. Earlier, the movie was supposed to hit the digital streaming space on May 26. According to the update, the date will be announced soon.

Superstar Rajinikanth's most-anticipated release, Jailer, under the direction of Nelson. The filmmakers have officially announced the release date of the first single from the movie. They will release the song in the second week of June.

Thalapathy Vijay, who scored another grosser in the form of Varisu for Sankranthi, is now working with his 'Master' director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Titled LEO, the movie will bring together Trisha and Vijay together after almost 12 years. Expectations for this film are sky-high. Meanwhile, Lalit Kumar, producer of the movie was reportedly quoted saying that they want to release LEO in more than 1500 centers overseas. The audio release event will also be held somewhere in Coimbatore, Trichy, or Madurai. However, the final confirmations are still awaited.

The filmmakers of pan-India star Prabhas' upcoming film, 'Salaar' have decided the date and time to release the teaser of the movie. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films joined hands with KGF director Prashanth Neel again for making Salaar. The movie's teaser will now release in theatres on June 16, when Prabhas' Adipurush will hit the screens all over the world. Salaar stars Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu among others in crucial roles.
