South Entertainment Highlights: Rajinikanth's First Look Poster From Lal Salaam, Controversial Kerala Story

Six talented Indian film directors—Bharathiraja, Balaji Sakthivel, Rajumurugan, Krishnakumar Ramakumar, Akshay Sundher, and Thiagarajan Kumararaja—are featured in the web series "Modern Love Chennai." Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, G. V. Prakash Kumar, and Sean Roldan are among the music composers for the series, and Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, Yugabharathi, and Bakkiyam Sankar wrote the songs. The series will premiere in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide on May 18, 2023.

The Mollywood film industry is struggling right now due to numerous controversies and box office failures. The Kochi city Police Commissioner K Sethu Raman reportedly said that the police would increase their presence during the film shoots in response to drug use allegations.

Thanks to the controversy around the film, The Kerala Story, which was submerged inside a lot of objections and controversies registered a great opening day collection on May 5. In the film, Rajinikanth portrays the character of Moideen Bhai. His first look was revealed from Lal Salaam, much to the appreciation of his fans. AR Rahman is scoring the entire soundtrack for the film in which Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth Santhosh are also cast. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the film.

Ram Pothineni is coming to the big screens with a heavy-energy mass-action entertainer referred to as Boyapati RAPO. The movie's first-look poster created an adequate buzz around the yet-to-be-named film. Since the makers have announced that their film will hit the screens on October 20, the post-production works have kick-started with dubbing. Sreeleela is the film's leading lady opposite Ram.
