She acted opposite to actor Viklram Prabhu in the film directed by Karthi who is the assistant director of famous director Muthiah. And Muthiah himself wrote the dialogues for this film. Music composer Sam CS, who has composed music for several films including 'Vikram Veda', 'Kaidhi', has composed the music for this film. Along with Sri Divya, Anantika is also playing the lead role in the film.

Producer Kanishk & Manikannan recently said in an interview, "When we saw the Kannada film 'Dagaru', the story caught our attention and we decided to remake it in Tamil. But before that, director Muthiah sir had acquired the remake rights and we approached him. But then he was busy with the work of 'Viruman'. Because of that, he was not immediately involved in the remake work, but he was interested in giving the opportunity of directing the film to his assistant Karthi.

When we first saw the director, he was young. But, with his narration skill, he has proved himself to be an excellent story-teller. After we finalized the story, we decided that Vikram Prabhu would be a perfect fit to act in it. When approached, he immediately agreed.
