Thalapathy 68: Maverick Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu Opens About His Next With Vijay! Says, 'God Is Kind &....'

Thalapathy Vijay, who enthralled his fans and made his Telugu debut with director Vamshi Paidipally's Varisu, is busy shooting for his upcoming film Leo. The movie is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who earlier made Master with the actor.

In light of the new update about Thalapathy Vijay's next after Leo with Venkat Prabhu, referred to as Thalapathy 68, the official announcement has come.

Venkat Prabhu, taking to his Twitter handle shared an announcement video and wrote, "Dreams do come true. God is kind." with a set of heart and gratefulness emoticons. The director also tagged a set of people from the production and public relations team of Thalapathy 68.

The movie is the 25th film of AGS Entertainment and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure Thalapathy 68 is super special.

The movie will likely go on floors from August this year and the official puja ceremony will be launched. The makers are eyeing for a good date to release the movie in the summer of 2024.

Actor Vijay also made a post announcing his next after LEO with a unique video. In the video, the filmmakers announced the finalized cast and crew of Thalapathy 68 presented by Kalpathi S Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment.

After Custody with Naga Chaitanya, which is bilingual, Venkat Prabhu again collaborated with Yuvan Shankar Raja again for Thalapathy 68. The rest of the cast and crew details are yet to be announced.

In the meantime, LEO stars Trisha Krishnan as the female lead opposite Vijay, bringing back their onscreen chemistry after about a decade. The movie also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sanjay Dutt, Myssikin, Arjun Sarja, and Mansoor Ali Khan among others in pivotal characters. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film's entire soundtrack and tunes.

Venkat Prabhu, who hit the screens with a bilingual titled Custody with Naga Chaitanya, registered a flop in his filmography. The movie was director's Telugu debut. He is set to bounce back into form with Thalapathy 68.
