Thalapathy Vijay Once Got Scolded By His Wife Sangeetha BADLY; Shanthanu REVEALS What Really Happened

Rumors surrounding the strained relationship between renowned actor Thalapathy Vijay and his wife Sangeeta have been making rounds through various channels. However, recent developments have clarified that these rumors hold no truth. Now, actor Shanthanu got candid in an interview and revealed a rather candid moment when Sangeetha scolded Vijay badly.

He stated that when Vijay attended his wedding, he was asked to handover the holy thread "Thali" to Shanthanu to be tied around his wife Kiki's neck. Vijay, a close friend of Shantanu, took part in the ceremony by presenting the thali to Shanthanu, after which he tied it around Kiki's neck.

When Vijay told his wife about the incident, Sangeeta playfully scolded Vijay, stating that such actions were traditionally reserved for elders of the bride/groom's family and that he shouldn't have done it. Shanthanu shared the light-hearted exchange between Vijay and Sangeetha in a recent candid interview. For the unversed, Shanthanu played a brief but important role in Vijay's earlier film Master.

Vijay and Sangeeta tied the knot in 1999 and are proud parents to two children, Sanjay and Divya. Despite the baseless gossip circulating, their marriage remains strong and intact. Recently, Vijay was spotted having a family dinner with his wife and kids in Italy and videos and photos of the same went viral on social media.

Meanwhile, Vijay is presently busy with the shooting of Leo, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagraj. The film stars Trisha Krishnan as the leading lady, while Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play the main antagonist. This film is a highly-anticipated one as Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's previous collaboration, Master was a huge success and it received applauds from fans and critics. Anirudh Ravichander is on board to compose music for the movie. Leo will hit the marque on October 11 this year.
