Recently, his fans offered free food for people across all constituencies of Tamil Nadu, which instantly caught the internet like a wildfire. Later, he also reportedly promised scholarship for students who secured top marks in class 12.
Now, a new piece of report has come up stating that Vijay has decided to quit acting after his 70th film and make an entry as a full-time politician, for which he is apparently laying the grounds by doing all the aforementioned activities.

It is also important to recall that his father and actor SA Chandrasekar also stated in several interviews that Vijay would enter politics soon, which again, was denied by Vijay.
On the acting front, Vijay will be next seen in the actioner Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This film will have Trisha Krishnan as Vijay's co-lead. Apart from the aforementioned actors, Leo will also have Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist. The film is presently in production stage. The first leg of shooting was wrapped up and the second schedule is reportedly happening in Chennai at a brisk pace. Meanwhile, Leo has reportedly collected 246 crores from digital rights, satellite, and music rights. The film collected a huge amount immediately after the announcement promo was done.
