Thalapathy Vijay To Take Home A Whopping Remuneration For His Next With Venkat Prabhu?

It is being reported that Thaapathy Vijay's next movie will be helmed by sensational filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. Though the news is not yet official, media reports and anticipations about it are making the rounds on social media. While we await the official announcement, the remuneration for Vijay in the yet-to-be announced movie as also surfaced.

Apparently, Vijay will be paid a whopping amount of Rs. 150 crore for the film. While more updates about this highly anticipated movie are yet to be revealed by the makers, this news about the remuneration has in deed come as a surprising piece of information to the fans. It is also reported that Super Good Films, who have previously collaborated with Vijay for several megahit ventures will bankroll this upcoming project.

And if this report about the collaboration between Vijay and the production banner turn out to be true, this project will be Super Good Films' 100th outing. So, this movie will be special for more than one reason to movie buffs.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has reportedly been approached to compose music for this film, which is tentatively tited Thalapathy 68. It was reported earlier that Maanaadu was originally scripted for Vijay, but since there were scheduling issues, Silambarasan TR ended up playing the central character in the movie.

Meanwhile, Vijay is presently busy with the production of his next movie, Leo. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this film has Trisha Krishnan as the second lead. The film also features several other stars including the likes of Sanjay Dutt, who will reportedly play the main antagonist in the movie. For the unversed, Vijay and Lokesh kanagaraj have previously collaborated for Master, which was received well by fans and critics. It is anticipated that Leo will be a part of LCU (Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe), which presently comprises of Kaithi and Vikram.
