Theera Kadhal Box Office Collection Day 1: Aishwarya Rajesh and Jai Starrer Theera Kadhal is struggling hard at the box office with Vijay Antony's Pichaikkaran 2 and Arulnithi's Kazhuvethi Moorkkan. The film which is based on love is released in less number of screens when compared to action packed Kazhuvethi Moorkkan.

Theera Kadhal Opens At A Dull Note

Reports say that Kazhuvethi Moorkkan has survived at the box office on its first day of release. The fact is that Mirchi Shiva's Kasethan Kadavulada and Tamil dubbed version of 2018 are gaining more attention than Theera Kadhal movie. As expected, Vijay Antony's Pichaikkaran 2 continues to rule the box office on its second week today.

Theera Kadhal is said to have collected 0.50 crores on its first day in India. The film was made on an overall budget of 6 crores.As it is a complicated love story, even if it is a little dose, it is not a fake love range or S.A. Like Capmari directed by Chandrasekhar Jay, this film would have gone badly.

Crux Of The Story

Gautham lives a peaceful life with a wife and child in an upper middle class apartment in Chennai. There is a situation where he should go to Mangalore by train for an official commitment. Alighting at a station for midnight tea, he randomly meets his ex-girlfriend Aranya.

Aranya also says she is going to Mangalore. In that meeting after many years, both of them share their old memories. Their meeting continues in Mangalore as well. Aranya tells her ex-boyfriend Gautham that her husband beats and abuses her daily. Meanwhile, both forget their own problems and fly in the sky of love. Gautam also feels comforted by Aranya's re-entry into his life as his wife Vandana is always engrossed in office work.

Later on both return to Chennai and decide not to meet again. But Aranya leaves the house after her husband brutally attacks her in a fight. After that, he often meets Gautham and nags Gautham to leave his family and come with her, saying that he cannot forget his old memories.

Aranya is rejected slowly by Gautham and at one point moves into the same apartment as Gautham's house. Due to this, many problems arise for Gautam. Did he recover from that? What happened to Aranya's love? What effect did it have on Gautam's family? - So many questions have been answered by 'Theerak Kadhal'.

Director Rohin Venkatesan handled the relationships and love scenes at the right level to do justice to the title of Theera Kadhal. The dialogues about life and the cinematography of the film are a big plus. Jai's performance in this film is too good.
