Kalidas Jayaram has gone to Taiwan to act in Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 directed by Shankar.

Indian is a 1996 film directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan. It became a mega blockbuster centered around the Indian freedom struggle and the fight against bribery. After this, the second part of the film was planned to be made after many years.

Accordingly Indian 2 film was started. Lyca came into production. The first look of the film was released and the shooting started in 2019, but due to some problems, the shooting was stopped. After that, the shooting started again in 2020 in full swing.

A crane collapsed and an accident occurred during the hectic shooting that started in 2020. Three people, including Shankar's assistant directors, died tragically in this accident. The shooting was halted again amid much controversy and Indian 2 was shelved for the past two years.

Due to this, many people thought that the movie Indian 2 was mostly abandoned. Kamal Haasan also acted in Vikram and gave a mega hit. After this, the shooting of Indian 2 started again in last year September. Shooting took place briskly in places like Chennai, Hyderabad, Tirupati. Also photos of Kamal Haasan on the shooting spot with Indian 2 stuntmen were released.

It is said that Shankar is planning to release Indian 2 for Diwali and has accelerated the shooting for it. In this context, the shooting of Indian 2 is currently underway in Taiwan.
