Unexpected Twist In Vijay TV's Baakiyalakshmi As New Cast Member Joins The Show

In an interesting twist, Vijay TV's soap opera Baakiyalakshmi is set to get a new cast member on board and it is expected that the new addition will amp up the excitement even more. The show, as such, has a huge buzz around it and now, this new addition is expected to elevate the show further.

According to a report on The Times of India, senior actor Revathy, who has previously worked in shows like Neethane Enthan Ponvasantham, Thavamai Thavamirundhu, will now join Baakiyalakshmi in a new role.

The daily quoted a source as saying, "Revathy has been approached to play the character named Palani Ammal. The actress will soon join the sets. With her entry, audience will see more drama in the show."

Speaking of it, Revathy said, "I am very excited to join the successful show. After a long time, I am back to return to the television industry and I am really excited to work alongside KS Suchitra and Reshma Pasupuleti after many years. I wish to keep the audience entertained and I hope my presence will add value to the show."

Previously, the show made the headlines excessively when one of the lead actors Sathish Kumar announced his exit from the show. He took to his Instagram space and announced his exit without mentioning the reason. It was reported that he decided to quit the show as he was not getting much role in it as compared to the other two leading actors. However, later, he reconsidered his decision to quit the show and decided to resume his role for the series. He announced his decision on Instagram stating that the issues that he was facing, were sorted and that he would act in the series.

Baakiyalakshmi is being aired on Vijay TV from Monday to Friday. Alternatively, fans can also watch it on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.
