UNEXPECTED TWIST: Metti Oli, Kolangal Actor To Make Comeback After 10 Years In Sun TV's Ethirneechal

Tamil serial director Thiruselvam, who is a well-known face in Tamil Nadu, is set to make a comeback to the small screens after ten long years. If reports are to be believed, Thiruselvam has been roped into the Sun TV serial Ethirneechal, which is one of the top-rated Tamil serials. Thiruchelvam will reportedly be seen playing an important role in the family drama.

For the unversed, Thiruselvam was last seen playing the best friend of Devayani in the TRP chart topper Kolangal, which still has a cult like following. Thiruselvam later directed several serials and played small roles in them. But now he is set to make a come-back and this indeed is an exciting piece of information to his fans.

Revealing the news, The Times Of India quoted a source as saying, "Thiruselvam will be seen in an important role and his character will be called Jeevanandham. The actor will soon join the show. With this entry, audience will see more drama in the show."

The daily quoted Thiruselvam as saying, "I am excited to join the super hit show Ethirneechal. After a long time, I am back to my acting career and I am really excited to work along with G Marimuthu, H Kaniha and Priyadarshini Neelakandan after many years. I wish to keep them all entertained. I hope they support me in my new journey."

Meanwhile, a couple of years back, Thiruselvam also announced that he is set to direct a sequel of Kolangal. He stated that the second instalment will be released with a set of all new cast and crew, even though Devayani expressed her desire to be a part of the second instalment. For the unversed, Thiruselvam also played an important role in Sun TV's another popular serial Metti Oli, where he played a negative role.
