Vaathi Day 2 Box Office Collection: Dhanush's Action Drama Goes Strong This Weekend For Positive Reviews

Dhanush's latest action drama, Vaathi, Sir in Telugu, which is written and directed by Venky Atluri, hit the screens all over the world in Tamil and Telugu on February 18. The movie was met with a positive response from fans and movie critics upon its release. Dhanush's performance is the highlight of the drama based on the privatization of education, Vaathi realized record openings in two Telugu states than Tamil Nadu on the day of its release.

Vaathi follows the story of Balamurugan aka Bala Gangadhara Tilak, a third-grade junior college lecturer working at a college in Tirupathi. He stands up against the educational institute's management to preserve the right to education from otherwise businessmen who want to milk money out of it.

The movie stars P Sai Kumar in the antagonist's role and has Samyuktha Menon as the film's female lead. In addition, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Pammi Sai, Narra Srinivas, Ameer Sultan, Hyper Aadi, Sha Ra, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Rajendran, Hareesh Peeradi, and Praveena were seen portraying some important characters in the film.

The film's cinematography was handled by J Yuvaraj and Naveen Nooli edited the film. GV Prakash Kumar composed the film's entire soundtrack and tunes. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments produced the movie on a budget of Rs 30 Crore in association with Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios banners.
