Jagatheeshwaran, who had made occasional appearances in Tamil films, including a notable role in Silambarasan TR's debut film "Kadhal Azhivathillai" (2002), will be remembered by many.

Earlier in the year, Vadivelu experienced the loss of his beloved mother Sarojini, affectionately known as Paapa, who passed away in January at the age of 87 due to health concerns. The recent news of Vadivelu's brother's demise has plunged the family into grief, as condolences and supportive messages from fans flood social media platforms. Jagatheeshwaran was one of three brothers, and the family also included two sisters, with Vadivelu being the eldest among them.

Vadivelu's Film Projects

In his professional endeavors, Vadivelu, affectionately known as 'Vaigai Puyal' among his devoted followers, delivered a remarkable portrayal in the movie "Maamannan," where he played the role of Udhayanidhi Stalin's father. This political drama, directed by the renowned filmmaker Mari Selvaraj and produced under the Red Giant Movies banner, emerged as a resounding triumph at the box office. Backed by Lyca Productions, this eagerly anticipated comedy horror film is set to hit screens on September 15. Notably, the movie marks the return of iconic director P. Vasu to Tamil cinema after a five-year hiatus, and it features enchanting music crafted by the Oscar-winning composer M. M. Keeravani.
