Speaking in an event, she was asked about her next plans in her personal life to which she said, "With god's grace, if I find love again, I will definitely give marriage one more chance. Let us see if that happens." For the unversed, Vanitha has three children and she was married thrice in the past.

Her first marriage was with actor Akash. They welcomed their son in 2001 and their daughter was born in 2005. Later, she divorced him and married Anand Jay Rajan, with whom she has a daughter. In 2021, she married for the third time with Peter Paul, and their marriage only lasted for a few months. They parted ways following a huge legal battle between Peter Paul's first wife, Elizabeth.
