Varalakshmi Shares Her Struggle In Kollywood & Wishes To Move HERE; Says 'Talent Is Not Respected In Tamil'

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Santhosh Prathap, Charlie, Iswari Rao and many others have acted in the movie, 'Kondraal Paavam'. Directed by Dayal Padmanabhan from Villupuram who has directed 18 films in Kannada. Chezhiyan has done the cinematography. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar had this to say about the March 3 release:

In this, I have played the character of Mallika. It is a thriller movie that takes place in a house on one day. Although the story takes place in 1980, the script is suitable for any era. This is a hit movie in Kannada. I hope it will be successful in Tamil too. I am acting mostly in Telugu films. In Tamil, my debut 'Poda Podi' was released in 2012. My Telugu film 'Crack' released in 2022. In that one year, the reception I got in Telugu, I didn't get in Tamil. Opportunities keep coming there in Telugu. They do not negotiate on salary. They give respect to talent. They believe that if I am there, the film will get a response.

I hope that I will get the same respect in Tamil after the film 'Kondraal Paavam'. Even though I am playing Villy in many films, I am playing a different character in every time. I don't play similar roles. I have acted in one more film with the same team. Its shooting has also been completed.
