Prabhu Ganesan, the veteran actor, and son of legendary Sivaji Ganesan were rushed to a hospital on February 21. The popular Kollywood actor-turned-character artist is reportedly suffering from a Kidney disorder. The family members admitted him to Medway Hospitals in Kelambakkam.
According to a report on Sakshi, Prabhu was administered Urethroscopy Lazer surgery to remove stones from his Kidneys. He is currently under observation in the intensive care unit. His condition is stable, said the doctors. Prabhu will be discharged from the hospital in another two days.
Although he is the son of a legendary actor, Prabhu has carved a niche for himself in the industry by portraying roles that are appropriate for his personality. He performed remarkable roles in films like Chandramukhi, Darling, Sakthi, and Ponniyin Selvan 1 among others.
