Vijay Antony’s Daughter Suicide: Actor’s Wife Fatima’s Last Post For Daughter Meera Will Leave You Emotional

In what came as a heartbreaking news from the Tamil industry, Tamil music composer-actor Vijay Antony's elder daughter Meera was found dead in their Chennai residence. While the news has left everyone in shock, it is reported that the young girl died of suicide.
According to media reports, Meera, who studied at a private school, was battling stress for a while and was even undergoing treatment for the same. The media reports also suggested that stress was a reason behind Meera taking the extreme step. As the reports of Meera untimely demise surfaced, the social media is abuzz with tweets and posts mourning Vijay's loss.
Amid this, Vijay Antony's wife Fatima Antony's last post for her daughter Meera is going viral and is leaving everyone teary eyed. The post was shared on micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), wherein Meera was dressed in while uniform along with a sash dropping hints of her achievement. The post was captioned as, "The Force behind my strength, the consolations to my tears, the reason for my stress (Naughtiness super loaded) my Thangakatti-chellakutty. Meera Vijay Antony, Congrats Baby" along with heart, hug and fire emoticons.

For the uninitiated, Vijay and Fatima had two daughters together - Meera and Laara. Meanwhile, actor and politician R Sarath Kumar mourned Meera's demise and tweeted, "The news of the untimely and unfortunate demise of Meera, the daughter of @vijayantony and Fatima is shocking beyond imagination. No amount of consoling and condolences can replace the everlasting grief of Vijay Antony and Fatima. Vijay I hope the almighty gives strength to your family to bear this unfathomable loss. May her soul rest in peace #RIPMeera."
Ace filmmaker Venkat Prabhu also wrote, "Woke up to this shocking news! Deepest condolences Vijay Antony Saar and family RIP Meera".
