Tamil music composer and actor Vijay Antony has been making headlines for the most heartbreaking news as his 16 year old daughter Meera passed away this morning. According to media reports, Meera died of suicide and was found hanging in their Chennai residence. Soon Meera was rushed to a private hospital wherein she was declared brought dead.

While the news has left the entire Tamil industry in a state of shock, condolence and sympathy messages have been pouring in for Vijay Antony and the entire family on social media. In the video, the bereaved father was breaking down into tears as he got into the ambulance to take his daughter's mortal remains home. He was surrounded by his closed ones who tried supporting him during this difficult phase. According to media reports, Meera's last rites will take place at their house in DDK Road, Chennai.

This isn't all. According to media reports, Vijay has made a special request for Meera's funeral. Reportedly, as per the information made from Vijay's side, the actor has requested that no one should come to the hospital, instead, they should come to their residence.

It was reported that Meera, who was studying in a private school, was battling stress and was even seeking treatment from a professional regarding the same.
