Vijay TV’s Bharathi Kannamma 2: THIS Popular Actress Joins Cast; Will There Be A Huge Twist?

Actress Sasilaya has been roped in by the makers of the popular Tamil TV show 'Bharathi Kannamma 2' to add more drama to the series. The show has a strong fan base and consistently receives a positive response from viewers, making it one of the top-rated Tamil serials in terms of TRP.

Sasilaya began her acting career with the web series Kadhal Kasagudhu and has also appeared in numerous short films. Her first TV show was the well-known soap opera Ponni C/O Rani.

Speaking of her part in the serial, Sasilaya told in an interview with The Times Of India, "I am really excited to play the role of Sandhiya. I am really eager to act with such brilliant actoes like Sibbu Suryan, Vinusha Devi, Farina Azad, Roopa Sree, Deepa Shankar, Radha, and Guhan Shanmugam. My special thanks to director Praveen Bennett for giving me this great opportunity and definetly, I will give my best in the show."

The lead roles in Bharathi Kannamma 2 are played by Sibbu Suryan and Vinusha Devi, with Roopa Sree, Deepa Shankar, Radha, Guhan Shanmugam, Udumalai Ravi, Baby George, Anuradha Krishnamoorthy, Reshma Prasad, Priyanka Dass, VJ Annamalai, and Shathiga in supporting roles. Praveen Bennett is the show's director.

It's worth noting that Bharathi Kannamma is a Tamil adaptation of the popular Malayalam serial Karuthamuthu, which also enjoyed a high degree of popularity.

Speaking of it, Bharathi Kannamma 2 has found its place in the Top 5 TRP rated Tamil shows this week. It has taken the fourth place in the show. However, it has seen a slip from the previous weeks as it used to occupy the second or third places in the previous weeks. Let us see if the entry of Sasilaya changes the fate of the show.
