Vikram Offered Rs. 50 Crore To Play Main Antagonist In Rajinikanth’s Next Directed By TJ Gnanavel?

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is presently busy with the production of the upcoming actioner, Jailor. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, and it is one of the highly anticipated movies of Kollywood. While we wait get Rajinified with this upcoming movie, updates about his next films are also making the rounds on social media.
It was reported a few months back that Rajinikanth's next movie after Jailor will be helmed by TJ Gnanavel and it will be bankrolled by Lyca Pictures. Now, reports about the film's cast members are also coming up. Accordingly, Chiyaan Vikram was reportedly approached to play the main antagonist in the movie. Though there are no official confirmations about the same, it is reported that he was offered a whopping amount to play the role.
A news report added that Vikram first denied the role for unknown reasons, even though he liked the script and the character offered. Later, Lycaa reportedly approached him to play the role and offered Rs. 50 crore for the same. Vikram is apparently now considering to play role even though he has not given his nod yet.
Meanwhile, apart from this, Rajinikanth also has Laal Salaam in his lineup. The film directed by his daughter and filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the superstar will make a guest appearance, while the film will be headlined by Vishnu Vishal. Recently, his poster from the movie was also released by the makers.
Vikram, on the other hand, was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2, which had him playing the Chola Kind Adithya Karikalan. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi in the lead roles. The film is setting the box office on fire and making records.
