Tamil
movie
Kaaka
Muttai
took
Kollywood
to
a
different
level
when
it
was
released
in
2014.
With
a
critically
acclaimed
direction
and
a
story
that
was
distinct
and
relatable,
director
Manikandan
made
the
headlines
when
the
film
was
released,
and
Kaaka
Muttai
is
still
an
unbeatable
classic
and
it
paved
a
new
way
for
Tamil
movies.
Speaking
of
Kaaka
Muttai,
one
can
never
miss
talking
about
the
actors
who
played
important
roles
in
the
movie.
While
Aishwarya
Rajesh
played
an
important
role
in
it
and
made
her
debut
in
cinema
with
the
film,
child
actors
Vignesh
and
Ramesh
made
a
huge
sensation
and
grabbed
the
attention
of
critics
and
movie
buffs
by
playing
the
central
characters
in
the
film.
In
case
you
didn't
know,
the
film
revolved
around
two
young
boys
from
a
slum
in
Chennai,
and
their
aspiration
to
eat
pizza
from
a
popular
outlet.
How
they
become
victims
of
elitism
and
whether
they
manage
to
finally
eat
pizza
makes
up
for
the
rest
of
the
movie.
Speaking
in
a
recent
interview,
Vignesh
and
Ramesh
opened
up
about
the
struggles
they
face
in
finding
an
opportunity
to
give
a
come-back
to
movies.
In
an
interview
with
Galatta's
YouTube
channel,
Ramesh
said,
"We
are
from
Kasimedu.
People
hesitate
to
give
us
opportunities
just
because
we
are
from
the
locality.
It
is
a
bad
case
of
stereotyping
and
we
are
trying
hard
to
break
it.
We
both
are
struggling
for
opportunities
and
we
would
gladly
take
up
any
opportunity
in
the
entertainment
industry."
Vignesh
said,
"Without
proper
financial
background,
we
are
even
unable
to
commute
to
offices
for
audition.
There
have
been
days
when
we
struggled
even
without
food.
We
are
trying
out
best
to
find
opportunities.
Not
just
movies,
we
are
open
to
acting
in
TV
serials,
too."
