What REALLY Happened To Gopi-Sudhakar In KPY? Erode Mahesh Breaks Silence For The First Time

To those who follow Tamil YouTube channels, Gopi and Sudhakar need no introduction. With their YouTube channel called Parithabangal, they have been spreading a wave on the video streaming application. Their comical videos usually come with a dash of social message and they never fail to trend on social media, too.

However, they have openly taken digs at the Vijay TV show, Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru in their Spotify podcasts. They have often mentioned how their hilarious auditions could not make the cut. And now, Erode Mahesh, who is one of the judges of the show, has finally broken his silence.

Talking to media, he said, "Did I snatch or grab Gopi-Sudhakar's opportunity? if they had performed good comedy at the time of audition, they would have gone to the next level for sure. Good performance is what matters. Otherwise I have no personal grudge against them. Even recently I met Gopi-Sudakar in a program. They both spoke well to me."

Meanwhile, Gopi and Sudhakar recently announced that they are set to made their Kollywood debut. The movie, which will be directed by Vishnu Vijayan and bankrolled by Vignesh SC Bose, was launched with a formal pooja a few months back.

Speaking to the press about the film, the duo said, "The movie will be a comical family entertainer. The audience will laugh through its runtime. Families in Tamil Nadu are our target audience and they will like it. There will be satire but will not be a thorough extension of what you have seen in Parithabangal."

The poster of the film, which was also released a few months back, features GoSu in Charlie Chaplin's makeover and the duo says that the film has a reference to the legendary actor. Let us wait until they come up with more updates about the film.
