Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Though Vijay Sthupathi starrer Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir movie got great appreciation from many political party leaders from Tamil Nadu, the film is struggling hard to collect a decent number at the box office on its first day of release.

The film which is said to be made on an overall budget of 12 crores including promotion is predicted to collect only 1.2 crores which is just 10 percentage of the overall budget. For an established hero like Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, this is too less. On the other hand Vijay Antony's Pichaikkaran is collecting too good at the box office.

SP Jananathan's Assistant Director

Directed by Venkata Krishna Rohanth, who was an assistant director of the late director SP Jananathan, the film has been shelved for many years and has finally hit the theaters today. In the trailer, the film talked about the problems faced by Eelam Tamils all over the world, the oppression of refugees, and the fact that land does not belong to anyone.

Ethirneechal serial actress Kanika gives a noteworthy performance in the film. The director seems to have thought that every scene can be conveyed to the audience through dialogue. All the characters keep talking throughout the film.

Lengthy Dialogues And Poor Screenplay

Vijay Sethupathi applies to participate in a grand concert in London. But the application is rejected as he is a refugee. And then how come his name appears in the selection list at the film's climax?

Showing something completely unrelated to the film and keeping the point of the film in long lines only in the final scene does not seem to have had any impact on the audience.

The intention to talk about the hardships experienced by Sri Lankan Tamils in the name of war for a long time and the dilemmas faced by those who went as refugees is commendable. But the director has failed to give it as a complete movie that will touch the hearts of the viewer. A good intention is diluted by a sloppy screenplay and weak visuals.
