Yuvan Shankar Raja To Make An Entry To Super Singer: Know Everything About It

One of the most-popular TV shows of Tamil Nadu is Super Singer, which is being aired on Vijay TV. The show had enjoyed eight glorious seasons and it's presently in its nineth season. And now, it looks like the makers of the show are set to amp up the excitement even more. If media reports are to be believed, the show ill have none other than the sensational music composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja as a special guest judge.

Talking in an interview with The Times Of India, YSR said, "I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful show. I am eager to watch such amazing talent performances. And I also thank the judges of the show, Benny Dayal, Anuradha Sriram, Swetha Mohan, and Unni Krishnan for inviting me to be a part of the show.

The nineth season of the show started with 20 talented singers, who were selected through elaborate auditions. Playback singers Benny Dayal, Anuradha Sriram, Shweta Mohan, and P Unnikrishnan are the judges of the season. As usual, the nineth season is also witnessing several wonderful talents and emotional moments right from the beginning.

In the previous season, Sridhar Sena was the winner of, while Bharat K Rajesh was the first runner up, and Abhilash Venkatachalam was the second runner. The eight season os also being hosted by Priyanka Deshpande and Ma Ka Pa anand.

The first season was premiered in 2007 and it has been renewed every year for a new season. The show's success also made it possible for it to be made in other languages too such as Malayalam Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Meanwhile, on the work front, it was recently announced that Modern Love's Chennai edition will be released on May 18. YSR as composed music for the series along with Ilaiyaraja, GV Prakash, Sean Roldan. The series will be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Videos. Thiagarajan Kumararaja is the creator of the series.
